Are Iron Cribs Safe?

Iron cribs can look wonderful in a baby nursery. But are they safe?

It's understandable that parents would worry about the safety of their child's crib. After all, infants are often in cribs unmonitored; if something was to go wrong, the parents might not even know about the problem until it was too late. To make matters worse, crib death is real, and it's a problem. The last thing you want as a parent is to put your child in at risk accidentally by purchasing a dangerous crib.

Why are there brown specks in baby formula?

Why are there brown specks in baby formula?

It happens to a lot of parents. You’re preparing a bottle for your baby when you spot a tiny, brown dot in the milk. Where could it have come from? How did an apparently foreign contaminate get mixed into your baby’s formula?

When we first noticed the brown floaters, we assumed that we had accidentally contaminated the formula ourselves. But despite our future caution, the specks just kept popping up. That’s when we got worried. Something was in the formula, and we wanted to know what it was.

Can you wash Dr. Brown’s bottles in the dishwasher?

Can you wash Dr. Brown’s bottles in the dishwasher?

Dr. Brown's Natural Flow Bottles are by far the best bottles that we have ever used. They discourage colic and ear infections while preserving vitamins and lipids (which your baby needs!). That’s a whole lot of use from a baby bottle, which is why we use them exclusively in our household.

Some parents find the bottles difficult to clean though, and they want to know whether or not Dr. Brown’s baby bottles can be cleaned in the dishwasher. This is a reasonable question; some bottles are only supposed to be hand washed.
